Infectious Disease
Barts and The London NHS Trust has a dedicated family of services able to assist their patients in infectious disease management, such as their tuberculosis (TB) service, enabling children receiving treatment for TB to be seen with other members of their family. This clinic is well supported by a team of TB nurses. They also care for children and adults who are HIV positive and for babies born to HIV positive mothers. The service also includes a specialist clinic for screening children and adults for other complex infectious diseases such as syphilis.
