We are an independent charity, governed by a highly qualified board of trustees and advisors. The Charity is dedicated to supporting the patients treated at Barts and The London NHS Trust. Our vision is to promote excellence in healthcare by raising, investing and granting funds for research and equipment.

We support the full range of routine and specialist services that are provided by the hospitals, from cancer to cardiac, trauma to children and across the spectrum of groundbreaking research.

Barts and The London Charity plays a vital role in supporting the Trust by providing grants which make a difference in patient care. Over the years Barts and The London Charity has awarded a range of grants which support innovative approaches in healthcare and medical research.

The Charity currently administers in excess of four hundred of these special purpose funds. These funds are of great benefit to Bart’s and the London NHS Trust, Barts and the London Queen Mary’s School of Medicine and Dentistry , and the other NHS organisations whose funds The Charity has responsibility for.

Our fundraising team manage partnerships with organistaions of all sizes and from various sectors. We create bespoke solutions tailored to the needs and interests of our partners, from one-off donations to long-term partnerships.
